Mayor G.T Bynum has issued a Safer at Home Order for all Tulsans, regardless of age. Additionally, it prohibits all public events, private events and social gatherings. Mayor Bynum has extended his order through April 30, 2020. The City will be working to secure funding to operate a temporary homeless shelter at the former Juvenile Justice Detention Center in partnership with Tulsa County. The City and TEDC announced today the creation of the Resilience and Recovery Fund, which will provide zero interest loans to small businesses.
